Hotchkiss Marketing Solutions presented the Comcast
marketing department with a multi-faceted strategy for employing
radio to attract subscribers. Radio had previously been a secondary
marketing medium for Comcast. The innovative tactics proposed were
designed to generate subscriber growth for basic cable, digital cable
and High Speed Internet products.
The Hotchkiss Marketing Solutions model provided Comcast with a
more significant share of voice with Portland radio listeners. Plus,
the comprehensive strategy exposed Comcast to radio listeners across
a number of platforms (events, internet, endorsement commercials,
promotions, specialty programming). More importantly, Comcast’s customer
acquisition costs dropped significantly.
As a result of this success in integrating radio into the marketing
plan, Comcast awarded their Portland media planning and buying to
Hotchkiss Marketing Solutions. Hotchkiss Marketing
Solutions was responsible for initiating and executing media strategies
across multiple platforms, including radio, broadcast television,
print and Hispanic media. |
